Life goes onNew single "Life Goes On" available on itunes in Australia and New Zealand June 4th. Other Countries to follow.

Like most, after losing her beloved mother to brain cancer, Tracey Arbon felt so devastated she wondered how she would go on.   After releasing her critically acclaimed debut album, ’Colours’ in the late nineties, Tracey fell into motherhood and was blessed with two beautiful girls.
All was going to plan until, when her youngest was almost one, her mother was diagnosed with a grade 4, brain cancer  - the worst kind.   Being told her mother only had six to twelve months to live Tracey dropped everything and took on the role of principal carer.  Coupled with raising two children, she was left with little time for anything else.
In June 2007, her mother passed away with Tracey by her side.   “I felt so helpless during her fight and, after it was over, I was totally lost. I really only found myself again through my singing and songwriting.
It was all I knew I could do. It also hit home that until you experience something so close to you, something so devastating, you can only imagine the pain associated,” she says.   Tracey’s new single ‘Life Goes On’ explores the loss in a personal story that will touch many.
“I’m finally ready to return to music!”

Tracey is pleased to announce her new single 'Life Goes On', which is soon due for release in June 2010.

Tracey was writing songs for her next album as well as for other people, when her personal life had changed somewhat, and made it difficult for her to pursue her music career, from 1999. In 1998 she wrote with Paul Barry and Hamish Stuart in London. Paul wrote the current world wide smash "Believe" for Cher as well as many other great songs of which everyone is sure to have heard. Hamish Stuart is formerly from the great 'Average White Band' and has now formed his own band.

Tracey also wrote with James Wirrick in Los Angeles. James wrote the huge hit for Sylvester, "You Make Me Feel Mighty Real". (For more info. Check out Tracey's Bio)

She recorded a single called "Cry To Heaven" which was to be released in the U.S.A., the single is a "Shield" project which was founded by Kyle Neven. The buzz for this track was pretty exciting! 'Cry To Heaven' was to be released throughout the rest of the world, and Tracey plans to jump back on track with this particular song, and chase this one up again. There has been word of at least four record labels wanting this particular track in America alone!!

Tracey parted ways with her former record label in Australia in January 1997. (Festival Records)

Tracey has plans to release a single in memory of her mother, who passed away in June 2007 of brain cancer.

She has began performing again this year (2009), mainly at private functions but is also planning a comeback in the live public scene in the next few months, to help re-establish herself again, and to get back into the enjoyment of singing. This at the moment, may involve anything from quite piano bar style gigs, to specialty gigs. Along with this she has started to pen her own music again, and plan to pitch songs to other artists aswell as herself for future recording/songs to be released. Five of Tracey's CD's are now available to purchase online in Australia and her debut Album 'Colours' is available online throughout other parts of the world!! Tracey Arbon

In the meantime, Tracey has a 5 track demo CD-R of her most current songs which she has written, these are the last of which she wrote and recorded professionally overseas.
